Bulb Camera Installation and Pairing

Step 1-2.

1. Download the Yi Iot app.

  • 1.1. Scan the QR Code on the instruction manual.
  • 1.2. Search and download “Yi Iot” app on google play or app store.

2. Create account/Sign Up.

  • 2.1. Select Country.
  • 2.2. Set Account and Password.

 

 

STEP 3:

Screw the camera into the socket and power it up. (Power is normal when the indicator light is on.)

Wait  for 20 seconds until the camera starts automatically and the two-tone sequence is heard.

 

 

STEP 4:

On the app, click the “+” in the upper right corner to add your device.

 

STEP 5

Select your WiFi connection.

 

 

STEP 6:

Tick “I heard the beep”, and then select next.

 

 

STEP 7:

Connect your phone to the same wifi your camera will be connecting to, then press “Next”. The app will give you a QR code.

 

 

STEP 8:

Put the QR code generated by the app in front of the bulb camera.

Keep the camera 20-30 cm (about 1 ft) away from the phone for about 30 seconds.

 

 

STEP 9:

The device will emit a prompt sound “QR Code scan successful”, and “wifi connected.

If you did not hear anything, click the “try sonic binding”.

 

 

STEP 10:

Wait 1-2 minutes for the device to complete the connection.

 

 

STEP 11-12:

Name your Bulb.

 

STEP 12B:

After successful pairing, please configure the guide according to your requirements.

If prompted to cloud storage subscription, just decline, and it will be okay.
